After a two year search and lot’s of emotional changes, we found this 5.2 acre piece of land to host our Outreach Camps for “high risk” single girls. The emotional choices were that in order to make this move, we would uproot our families and sell our home so that we could afford this piece of land.

We can relate to the story of Peter when he gets out of the boat to meet Jesus. (See Below)

Jesus comes to the disciples, walking on the water. This terrifies the disciples and they think they are seeing a ghost. Jesus tells them in (Matt 14, Mark 6, Luke. 28) “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
Peter replies, “Lord, if it’s you, tell me to come to you on the water.” So Jesus invites Peter to come. Peter gets out of the boat and begins walking on the water toward Jesus. But when Peter takes his eyes off Jesus and sees the wind and waves, he begins to sink. Peter cries out to the Lord and Jesus immediately reaches out his hand and catches Peter. As they climb into the boat together, the storm ceases. Then the disciples worship Jesus, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Five years ago, we answered the call and founded this Outreach Ministry. We decided that no matter the cost, we were going to walk in faith, a walk that reminds us that God’s ways are not our ways, but his way is awesome and complete!
