Solid Rock Outreach (SRO)

Is a ministry that was started by a group of people who have a heart for the Lord and a willingness to step out in faith to begin a variety of programs that will reach out to the people in the community. Our desire is to bring a message of hope to all that are willing to hear and to let them know that they are not alone in this world. There is a God in heaven who wants to change the course of their life so that they can experience God’s Love in a way that will be life changing.

SRO will create programs that provide fellowship and friendships, a forum in which to share Hope and Healing which comes from learning about their purpose and the importance of having God in their life. We will be a friend to the friendless; we will pray and encourage the people who come to us; our message being to not give up on life but most importantly not to give up on God. And no matter how bad the situation is in their life, God can make a difference and with our help at SRO and with the help of our partners, we want the opportunity to teach people about the Awesome Power of God and to know that, with His strength and guidance, they can survive the trials and burdens of life.

Beauty for Ashes

One of the first programs implemented by SRO is the Beauty for Ashes outreach; it offers a forum specifically targeting young single ladies ranging in the ages of 14-25. If you’ve lost a sense of hope and purpose and you’re feeling lonely, we offer fellowship, friendship, acceptance, prayer, healing and restoration. We will bring to you the message of love from God’s point of view and we will show you that, with a little faith and a lot of willingness to hear, God is able to restore the broken hearted and give you a new sense of happiness!
