So your walk with God has become distant and you’re feeling lost, alone, confused and just not able to function. You’re wondering, what am I doing, where am I going? I’m so lost and not focused. I’ve lost my way!
Often the fast pace of life and its worries get the best of us, and this is when we need to connect to our heavenly Father who understands exactly where we are and what we are going through.
God says;
“Come to me all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matt 11:28)
Can you remember a time in your life when you were completely in God’s rest? If you can, take a moment to reflect back on that time, and how it felt. If you are comfortable doing so, feel free to describe it below in the “Comment” section of this post. My guess is that during that time you felt God’s peace, love and grace. You knew that no matter what happened, God was in control and having God leading the way, you’d surely get through.
Well, God is on the throne, and there is nothing too big or small for him. Put him first in all that you do and watch him change the course of your life.
“Jehovah reigneth; he is clothed with majesty” (Psalm 93: 1)
Ask God to help you find that place of rest, and when you ask, be prepared to receive it. When God gives you that place of rest and peace, don’t clutter that time with other things, force yourself to say NO to things you don’t need to be doing right now and feed your mind, spirit and soul with God’s word.

WELL WHAT IF WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOU WERE LOST AND REALIZE THAT YOU NEED HIM BUT YOU FEEL SO ASHAMMED THAT YOU HAVE KNOWN HIS WORD SINCE A YOUNG CHILD AND YOU KNOW THAT GETTIN G LOST IS A SIN BUT YOUR JUST SCARED TO TELL GOD “IM SORRY” AND YOURE ASHAMED OF WHAT HE WILL THINK OF YOU. I FEEL LIKE THAT SOMETIMES I KNOW HE WATCHES US BUT I JUST DON’T FEEL THAT CONNECTION LIKE I DID BEFORE AND I FELL ITS BECAUSE OF WHAT I SINNED AND IM ASHAMED TO ASK GOD FOR THAT RELATIONSHIP BACK AGAIN?

I lost my job of 16 yrs because of my fiancee was cheating with the girl that worked with me. Everyone knew about this except me. When I found out I was crushed. I lost my job behind all this. I had a strong relationship with God prior. I cant seem to put the past behind me. Even thou all this happen 1 year ago.we were still trying to make it work.I now no that I should of never layed God down and lifted the man that was not God .I pray all the time day in and out.I dont like the pain I am feeling,I just want the pain to go away.I no when God close one door,another one opens,He want put more on us than we can bear.I FEEL THAT I CANT BEAR ANYMORE. I AM PRAYING FOR GOD TO FORGIVE ME..FOR LETTING HIM DOWN.

Hi, thank you for sharing your story. It is hard to recover from a situation like this but as you know, God is with you and has BIG plans for your life. Don’t let them enemy discourage you anymore. If you’ve asked for forgiveness, which you clearly have done, allow the blood of Jesus to cleanse you and accept his forgiveness!
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13.

Alice, you will be ok. I know that God will give you the strength to endure this trial. He see’s your pain and wants you to know that what the enemy meant for harm, God can turn it around for your good. I’ll be praying for you tonight.. Hold on to Jesus, his forgiveness is there for you and he loves you so much. As I stated in the post below, God has BIG plans for your life, so, get ready to see what he’s going to do.
