God’s promises for us have been spoken..

It’s not always easy staying on track and close to your Creator.  We get wrapped up in school, work and or just life.  You can usually tell that something is not right when you start to feel distant.  You can’t remember the last time you said more than a quick two second prayer or when you’ve read a devotional or picked up your bible to read a passage.

I can usually tell that I’m not right when I notice that I’m discouraged easily, when I start to feel like the weight of responsibility is to heavy and I feel overwhelmed, or when I’m frustrated all of the time.  I believe that sometimes those are indicators that we need our comforter, The Holy Spirit, our guide, our healer our strength to help us.

Often we forget that when we acknowledge Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we have the Holy Spirit who is in us, who gives us strength to overcome any temptation, any situation that keeps us from connecting with our Creator.  When we connect, we realize that his plans for us are Bigger than anything we could imagine.

As I struggle to see that plan, I put on the song by Hillsong – “So Will I”  – It breaks me down, and I start to lift my hands in surrender, and I begin to connect again..  So Will I..
